Northwest Bicentennial Station cover, 1987 Sept. 17.

Envelope addressed to Governor Richard F. Celeste from Henry Robert Burke has stamp citing the preamble of the United States Constitution and postmark from Northwest Bicentennial Station, Marietta, Ohio commemorating the bicentennial of the U.S. Constitution. On envelope back is taped a note to Celeste from Burke "that the above stamp and cancelation is [sic] of very historical value."

Richard F. "Dick" Celeste (b. Nov. 11, 1937, Cleveland, OH) was governor of Ohio, diplomat, and politician. He graduated from Yale University (1959) and received a Rhodes Scholarship to study at Exeter College, Oxford University.
